Have wasted capacity in your e-Frac operation ?

Waste Less. Earn More. Learn How.

Our e-Frac Solution ensures you're getting the most out of your turbine. You're paying for it, so use it to power on-site mobile data centers for revenue-generating computing. Waste less. Earn more.

Turbine Inefficiency & Wasted Power

Turbines are sized to handle peak loads during all phases of an e-Frac operation. That means that most of the time there is wasted potential capacity that the turbine could produce and is not. This usually means the turbine is running in an inefficient state. Sometimes consuming gas at the same rate as much higher power outputs. Our e-Frac solution puts that extra capacity to work and adds an additional revenue stream to your operation.

Operational Impact

Digital Carpenters' mobile data centers are scalable and purpose designed to consume all of the excess power you have available. The containers are trailer mounted and move from site to site with the crew and will fit into existing mobilization practices. Once at the new location, we are back online after just a few terminations.

Control System

The data center monitors how much power is available and adjusts the load in real time to maintain an agreed upon power target to ensure optimal gas efficiency and sufficient headroom to be certain there is no impact to the e-Frac operation. This allows for fully autonomous, 24/7 control to keep things running as streamlined and profitably as possible. Manual control system also available as needed or as requested.

“We are going through our portfolio of sites to find different ways Digital Carpenters can help us build data center technology into our operations and turn waste into the upside of bitcoin at no cost to us.”

- Eddie Durante, CEO, Remington Oil & Gas

Frequently Asked Questions

Most common questions from our customers on our e-Frac solution.

What are my responsibilities in this solution?
The solution is designed to fit into the existing e-Frac operation with minimal impact. It will involve moving the trailer to the new location and the electrician to terminate the power and control runs. Everything outside of that is managed by Digital Carpenters.
How do you get to 14 month Capex Payoff?
Details on the financial model shared on an introductory call to walk through your operation and ensure it is a good fit for this solution.
What's the current lead time?

This solution can be delivered in the field and commissioned in less than 4 weeks from the time of signing the contract.

How much surface is required?

The trailers on the smallest solutions are mounted on 16' trailers with the largest containers being ISO standard 40' shipping containers. On large deployments, we would use multiple containers to achieve the proper power consumption.

Does this solution use bitcoin servers?

Yes! Our solutions leverage Bitcoin servers as they are the ideal server to handle any changes in demands for load and account for downtime in generator maintenance.

Bitcoin servers are ideal for this solution-- when the turbine is on-- these servers are printing money and adding value to your site operations.

We are exploring using AI servers in future deployments.

What suppliers do you use?

Digital Carpenters is not selling a certain product line and does not mark up procurement. We want to make our money in a win win scenario in an ongoing fashion from successful operations.

We will work to get your site the best solution based on your needs from the best brands in the business. We do prefer to work with components made in America, but can advise on value orientated decisions where needed.

We're your Data Center Partner. We're interested in building relationships not selling you a product. We will provide you a list of options with the pros and cons of each along with financial modeling for all scenarios.

Why partner with us?

We have 20+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing data centers. We're based in the Permian Basin and have trained over 40+ Data Center Technicians. Most of all, we're obsessed with data center operations. We're not here to sell you a product, we want to partner with you. We'll optimize your wasted gas project and run it like it's our business.

Our Trusted Partners

The World's Most Power Dense Data Center

Our partner Lancium contracted us to design, build, and operate the most power dense data center in the world in Fort Stockton, Texas. Learn how we oversaw $30M in Capex and optimized Data Center operations at this 25MW Clean Campus.

Proving sites with as little as 30 Mcf/day

This project partnered with SES Arrow to test our Wasted Gas Solution with their small 90kW engines at a flare gas site and trained existing pumpers to perform routine maintenance.

Make up to $0.13/kWh. Let us prove it.

If you have wasted power, you're leaving money on the table.
