About The Project
Boots on the Ground in San Patricio County, Texas
Digital Carpenters was engaged by BitFrontier to come on the project replacing another immersion data center operator. We were brought onsite to oversee the project management bringing together the gas-to-power provider 10NetZero and the site owner to finalize the site deployment. We were the boots-on-the-ground-- bringing in electricians, networking specialists, coordinating equipment deliveries, and all other site deployment activities for the immersion system.
This site had many retail data center customers, each of whom purchased their own machines for use in the immersion cooling setup. Our data center technicians are trained to work on miners of all kinds and expertly configured and installed the various types of customer equipment.
Once installed, we then set up Foreman for monitoring the miners, ensuring each customer's equipment was properly tracked with their pool information and serial numbers of machines. We rigorously tested the machines and successfully launched this 1.2MW immersion cooled stranded gas site for our partners.
After go-live, we continued to provide day-to-day operational support for the site with remote monitoring, troubleshooting hardware, and producing reports which could be shared with retail customers.
