Looking to electrify your off-grid site? Let us help save up to 50% on your ongoing opex costs.

Waste Less. Earn More. Learn How.

Using mobile data centers to consume excess power to save on generation costs and provide a diversified revenue stream.

Solution Approach

  1. We map out the electrical demands of the site for equipment such as ESPs, compressors, PLCs, RTUs, etc.
  2. Generator selection made to maximize total power based on consistently available field gas
  3. Appropriate backup fuel source incorporated into design to minimize downtime
  4. Electrification and integration of all key components installed
  5. Excess power from oversized generator is consumed with a on-site mobile data center
  6. You pay what would have been the cost for powering only what you need and earn a profit share on the additional data center revenue

This allows operators to monetize surplus energy, reduce waste, and lower emissions — all while gaining optionality in remote, off-grid environments.

Lower Operational Costs

Compared to renting generators and paying for traditional service contracts, our solution significantly reduces operating expenses. By using onsite associated gas as fuel, operators eliminate the need for diesel deliveries, overpriced generator rental fees, and third-party maintenance costs. The system is designed for efficiency and autonomy, putting the operator in control and delivering long-term savings.

Monetize Stranded Field Gas

Our solution includes a way to monetize the gas that would have been flared beyond what is needed to provide power to the site. This provides additional revenue streams that otherwise wouldn't be possible.

Site Electrification Solution Benefits

Scalable and Mobile Deployments
We'll design a mobile data center to fit the flow of your excess power to waste less and earn more even as needs change over time.
Utilize Field Gas
Electrify the site with waste fuel and monetize what would have been flared
Incentivized Uptime
Data centers are a very high uptime business. If we don't keep the site online, we lose significant amounts of money during those periods.
Enhanced Monitoring & Automation
Having a consistent power solution and modernized tools running at site opens the door for many improvements in automation, issue response, and tracking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most common questions from our customers on our Site Electrification Solution

What are my responsibilities in this solution?
You focus on keeping the gas flowing. We handle everything else.

Digital Carpenters offers turnkey service for our Site Electrification Solution. We are not the oil and gas operator but will handle project management and execution of getting your site online in the modern age.
Will this cost more in Capex?
The short answer is no. If you are looking to electrify your site already, then we will demonstrate a remarkable savings over other solutions due to the fact we bring more revenue to the table by monetizing the field gas and not charging customers for anything more than they would have paid to electrify the site in the first place.
What's the current lead time?

Depending on project requirements, site readiness, and size, these sites can be online in 4-6 weeks.

What is the minimum contract term length?

A minimum agreement is one year for this solution however the additional revenue and cost savings are realized on the Opex side and would be maximized over a longer term agreement.

Does this solution use bitcoin servers?

Yes! Our solutions leverage Bitcoin servers as they are the ideal server to handle any changes in gas flow and account for downtime in generator maintenance.

Bitcoin servers are ideal for this solution-- when the gas is flowing and the generator is on-- these servers are printing money and adding value to your site operations.

We are exploring using AI servers in future deployments.

What suppliers do you use?

Digital Carpenters is not selling a certain product line and does not mark up procurement. We want to make our money in a service agreement to keep your site online and by running our data center off the excess power generated.

We will work to get your site the best solution based on your needs from the best brands in the business. We do prefer to work with components made in America, but can advise on value orientated decisions where needed.

We're your Data Center Partner. We're interested in building relationships not selling you a product. We will provide you a list of options with the pros and cons of each along with financial modeling for each scenario.

Why partner with us?

We have 20+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing data centers. We're based in the Permian Basin and have trained over 40+ Data Center Technicians. Most of all, we're obsessed with data center operations. We're not here to sell you a product, we want to partner with you. We'll optimize your project and run it like it's our business.

Our Trusted Partners

The World's Most Power Dense Data Center

Our partner Lancium contracted us to design, build, and operate the most power dense data center in the world in Fort Stockton, Texas. Learn how we oversaw $30M in Capex and optimized Data Center operations at this 25MW Clean Campus.

Proving sites with as little as 30 Mcf/day

This project partnered with SES Arrow to test our Wasted Gas Solution with their small 90kW engines at a flare gas site and trained existing pumpers to perform routine maintenance.

Electrify your site at a fraction of the cost. Let us prove it.

If you have excess power potential, you're leaving money on the table.
